Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVICU

License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
Must-Have:
Cardiovascular experience with balloon pump and open heart recovery training
Description:
Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff.
Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes.
Identify outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation.
Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing safe and humane patient care.
Provide learning opportunities for patients and family members.
Directly provide health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team members.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Commit to safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients.
