The ideal candidate should have experience with pulmonary artery lines and advanced cardiac devices. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed. Floating to ICU units within the hospital may be required. Skills in vent management, IV starts, and dysrhythmia interpretation are essential. The unit is a fast-paced environment focused on critically ill patients. Training and competency assessments will be required prior to patient care responsibilities.
