This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $3,300 based on a 5x8s Day shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Travel CVICU RN:

Provide specialized critical care to postoperative cardiovascular and thoracic surgical patients
Manage hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive infusions, ventilators, and advanced cardiac support equipment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, surgeons, and respiratory therapists
Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and manage complex, high-acuity cases
Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the EMR
Uphold evidence-based practices and CVICU safety standards

Requirements of the Travel CVICU RN:

Active Illinois RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS and ACLS required.
Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience
Strong knowledge of cardiac critical care, hemodynamics, and postoperative recovery
