Job Description
- Provide expert care for critically ill cardiac, vascular, and post-surgical patients.
- Manage patients requiring ventilator support, CRRT, ECMO, LVAD/RVAD, and intra-aortic balloon pump.
- Titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips, sedation, and insulin infusions per protocol.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic parameters, arterial lines, and Swan-Ganz catheters.
- Assist with chest tube insertion/removal and manage BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC therapy.
- Perform central/PICC line care, blood product administration, and continuous IV therapies.
- Respond to cardiac and medical emergencies; interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team—physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and PT/OT—to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed documentation in EPIC and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
