Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license – permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU; travel experience in CVICU will be considered
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
Active ACLS certification required
Active NIHSS certification required
One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of CVICU experience within a single location preferred
Prior travel nursing experience in a CVICU specialty
