Contract | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac events
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in holiday coverage on a rotating every-other-holiday basis
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in CVICU (travel experience may be considered)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility
• Prior travel nursing experience in a CVICU or comparable critical care environment
