Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients, responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competency areas
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible (Adult ICU designation applies)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with cardiovascular monitoring and advanced hemodynamic assessment
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements and pre-assignment onboarding processes
