Registered Nurse – ECMO Specialist (CVICU)

Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
Serve as an ECMO Specialist RN, providing direct circuit management and patient monitoring for patients on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support
Deliver high-acuity nursing care within a cardiovascular or cardiac intensive care unit setting
Float to CICU/CVICU units as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
Complete required pre-assignment modules and maintain compliance with all facility orientation requirements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in a critical care environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Minimum 2 years of ECMO Specialist experience with circuit management (RN ECMO Specialists only; Respiratory Therapy and Perfusion ECMO Specialists will not be considered)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent experience with Epic EMR
Must meet facility travel distance eligibility requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
3 or more years of CVICU or ICU nursing experience
CES-A or E-AEC certification
LVAD experience or certification
