Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 12-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients with cardiac and neurological conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
- Float within scope to like units as needed, consistent with expectations for staff nurses
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications- Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license required prior to start date
- Minimum of 1 year of CVICU or related critical care nursing experience
- Cardiac and neurological nursing experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Must not be a first-time traveler; prior travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2 or more years of CVICU experience preferred
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred
