Travel RN – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Fort Worth, TX

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 2 weekend shifts biweekly | No on-call required

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform and manage hemodynamic monitoring including Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, and central lines
• Manage ventilated patients and oversee chest tube care
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including GE monitors, EV1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), and Impella devices
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, or Cardiac PCU as needed

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management
• Proficiency in arterial line, central line, and chest tube management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care environment

• CVICU-specific experience including CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella management
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• BSN degree and/or CCRN certification

• Work in a well-staffed, all-RN unit with a consistent 2:1 patient ratio and no on-call requirements
• Gain hands-on experience with advanced cardiovascular critical care technology in a structured, collaborative environment
