Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 or 19:00–7:30) | Every Other Weekend | Some Holidays | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Operate and manage the NextStage CVVH machine as part of patient treatment plans
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity cardiovascular patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the CVICU specialty
• Demonstrated CVICU clinical experience
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; strict criteria apply for lethal rhythm identification and heart block questions)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care environment
