Travel RN – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) – Nights

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 1, 2026

• Provide direct nursing care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients in a 16-bed CVICU setting with patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:1 for device patients
• Manage and monitor patients on advanced cardiac devices including ECMO, Centrimags, IABP, Impella, HM3 LVADs, and PA catheters with hemodynamic monitoring
• Perform and assist with unit-based procedures including central line insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter insertion, and intubations
• Utilize Meditech for clinical documentation and Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps for patient care
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including 2 weekends per month and designated holiday coverage
• Float as needed, typically to other ICU settings, in accordance with unit floating policy

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience with demonstrated CVICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with PA catheter management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a high-acuity cardiac surgical environment

• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Prior experience in a high-volume cardiac surgery program supporting advanced cardiac devices
