Schedule / Job TypeContract | Onsite | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day: 6:45–19:15 / Night: 18:45–7:15 | Every other weekend required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | 1 Holiday required | No on-call required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and manage hemodynamic status using advanced monitoring equipment
- Operate and manage devices including IABPs and Impellas
- Perform and oversee CRRT/CVVHD therapy
- Care for postoperative cardiac surgery patients, including CABG and valve procedures
- Float to Adult ICU or Telemetry units with appropriate assignment as census requires
Required Qualifications- Active PA RN license or compact license required at time of submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Proficiency with CRRT/CVVHD, hemodynamic monitoring, IABPs, and Impellas
- Experience caring for postoperative heart surgery patients (CABG/Valves)
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-acuity cardiovascular or cardiothoracic ICU environment
- Comfort with rotating shift schedules, including mixed day and night shifts within the same week
