Travel RN – CVICU (Nights)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at a 2:1 patient ratio
- Manage critical care patients including those requiring open heart post-operative care and neurological monitoring
- Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic support devices including intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Manage ICP drains and other critical care interventions in accordance with unit protocols
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Float to other units as required based on facility need
Required Qualifications- Active RN license valid in Pennsylvania (or compact license)
- Minimum 1–2 years of CVICU experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with open heart surgical cases
- Neurological critical care experience including ICP drain management
- Familiarity with intra-aortic balloon pump management
