Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $1,673 per week in Austin, TX

Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: RN Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent full-time experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR circulator in a high-volume hospital setting. - Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. - Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed. - Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment. Description: The CVOR service line provides surgical interventions for routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Cardiac procedures include coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, and placement of ventricular assist devices. Procedures may also include Impella or intra-aortic balloon pump placement, as well as adult ECMO. TAVR procedures are performed in the endovascular OR. Thoracic cases include laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures. Vascular procedures range from placement and revision of grafts and fistulas to endovascular procedures. The CVOR service line consists of 4-6 operating rooms depending on daily volume, including an endovascular suite. It has the capacity to conduct four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass. Candidates with less experience or who require extensive onboarding will not be considered. The schedule for this contract includes three shifts on weekends as well as one weekday based on department needs. Participation in the call schedule is voluntary.
