Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR circulator in a high-volume hospital setting License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures - Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment - Capability to start immediately without extensive onboarding - Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed Description: The CVOR service line provides surgical interventions for routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Cardiac procedures include coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, placement of ventricular assist devices, and may include impella or intra-aortic balloon pump placement as well as adult ECMO. TAVR procedures are also performed in the endovascular OR. Thoracic cases include both laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures. Vascular procedures range from placement/revision of ESRD grafts/fistulas to endovascular procedures in the endovascular OR. The CVOR service line has the capacity to perform four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass. Candidates must participate in call coverage for the service line after normal business hours and weekends. Scheduling for this contract is based on department needs. Candidates must have a demonstrated proficiency in their specialty and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
