Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,359 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year travel experience required License: Current state nursing license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience of at least 2 years - Patient ratio experience of 1:1 - Experience using Epic charting system - Ability to respond to cardiac emergencies - Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating Description: Travel experience is required for this position. The position will float between units as needed. On-call duties will be part of the responsibilities. Weekend shifts are required once per month from Saturday 6:00 AM to Monday 6:00 AM. Expected patient ratios are 1:1. Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Responsibilities include responding to cardiac emergencies and working as both scrub and circulator. Candidates may be required to float to other units based on their skill sets. If assigned to different facilities and asked to float, additional compensation will be provided. The facility has a total of 536 staff beds and is a teaching hospital. Scrub color is flexible, with all colors acceptable. The charting system used is Epic. Candidates will be required to work during 3 of the 5 holidays. Two references are necessary that cover one year of work within the last three years. Candidates should be prepared for possible floating between hospitals if necessary. Inflexibility in availability may affect the contract.
