The position involves working in a dynamic team environment. The unit includes 2 heart rooms with a potential for a third. Staffing consists of 4 RNs and 3 CSTs during the day shift. Patient ratios are typically 1:1. The equipment utilized includes EMR Meditech and CPN. Typical procedures performed include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR. Candidates must possess a confident and positive attitude. Communication with staff and providers is essential. A commitment to patient experience is a priority. On-call requirements include 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month. An ECMO program is restarting, enhancing clinical opportunities.
