Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,607 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related procedures in the mediastinum. Ability to take call when assigned. Unit hours of operation are 06:30 - 15:00. Call starts at 15:00 when assigned. Weekend call is Friday, Saturday, Sunday when assigned. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in cardiovascular surgery. The unit has a variety of cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacement, and repair of aortic dissections. Perform procedures such as TAVR, thoracic surgery, da Vinci-assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, and mediastinal lymph node biopsies. Experience with ECMO initiation and pericardial window procedures is required. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have advanced skills in cardiovascular surgery. The candidate should adhere to unit guidelines and hospital policies.
