Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,622 per week in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with Epic charting system - Travel experience preferred Description: Unit details include variable call requirements. Typically, there is one weekday call each week and one weekend call every 3-4 weeks. Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice as needed. The unit accepts first-time travelers with two years of experience. Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine their fit. If the clinical screen and Piedmont guidelines are met, candidates will be sent to the management for final decision. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday during their assignment. If two major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler must work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. Full compliance is required to start on time; delays in compliance will push back the start date by two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. The unit does not accept travel pairs. Block schedules are not honored, and self-scheduling is not allowed. Management reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to meet the needs of the unit. All time off must be finalized at the time of submission, and no time off can be requested post-offer or onsite. Maximum time off is seven days per contract. No consecutive weekend requests are permitted. There are specific guidelines for requesting time off for major holidays. Compliance onboarding must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
