Registered Nurse – CVOR (Cardiovascular OR) | Contract

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (Cardiovascular Operating Room RN) to provide high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role focuses on cardiac surgery support, intraoperative nursing care, and patient safety in the OR.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in the cardiovascular OR (CVOR)
- Support surgical teams during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Utilize the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication with surgical teams
- Assist with patient positioning, sterile technique, and intraoperative monitoring
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff
Schedule Details- Multiple shift options:
- 5x8s
- 4x10s
- 3x12s (starting at 6:00 AM)
- Shift windows:
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- On-call required: 48 hours per 6-week rotation
- Must be available 1 weekend per month
- Block scheduling available
