Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour, Evening 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required, with experience circulating in a Level 1 trauma center and completion of 1 prior travel assignment. License: DC RN Licensure required; pending license accepted, but must have applied and possess license prior to start date. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience, charting system experience preferred. Trauma Level I experience preferred. Description: Registered Nurse needed for CVOR. Position involves day and evening shifts, requiring flexibility in scheduling. On call and weekend requirements include 6 calls per 6-week schedule and one weekend or holiday per 6-week schedule. Float requirements apply if no cardiac surgeries are available. Candidate must be willing to float to general surgery as needed. This unit cares for adult and geriatric patients. Daily census includes 60 cases with 8-10 hearts. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Lift Teams, and Pharmacy. The patient diagnoses include CABG, valves, LVAD, transplants, endovascular, and open vascular procedures. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Strong communication skills are essential for this role. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
