Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,706 per week in Gastonia, NC

Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: RN CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: DAYS Hours per Shift: 8 hours (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, on call) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: Required certifications for CVOR Must-Have: - Experience with CABG on bypass - Experience with CABG off bypass - Experience with mitral valve or aortic valve replacement - Experience with Bentall procedure - Experience with pulmonary embolisms - Experience with balloon pump and Impella - Experience with hybrid cases for TAVR - Experience with lung cases, including VATS/thoracotomy procedures, lobectomy, decortication, and wedgy biopsy - Flexibility to float to other rooms when needed Description: The position is for an RN specializing in CVOR. Candidates must have experience with various cardiovascular procedures, including CABG on and off bypass, valve replacements, and hybrid cases. Experience with lung cases and the ability to assist with a variety of surgical procedures is essential. Candidates should be prepared for heavy call responsibilities, including 1-2 shifts of 16 hours each weekly. Expectations include a full weekend call every fourth weekend. The unit has 12 operating rooms and a hybrid OR. The average number of cases per day is between 35 and 40.
