ACLS certification required. Must-Have: Must be willing to work with acutely ill patients, including emergency situations. Description: The CVOR RN Circulator functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of nursing. The RN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice. The RN demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The RN also coordinates and directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the nursing practice act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The RN provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support that directly and indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients, families, and significant others. The RN is responsible for knowledge and implementation of the mission, vision, and values of the institution. There are requirements for minimum call obligations, including 1-2 days a week and a minimum of one weekend a month. The team will also float to other facilities as necessary based on staffing needs.
