Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,888 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Operating Room Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Operating Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 3x12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two years of operating room experience License: RN License (New York) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - RN License (New York) - BLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Two years of experience in an operating room - Ability to scrub and circulate - ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Telemetry Description: The Cardiac Operating Room cares for a wide variety of patients. Types of procedures include CABGs, TAVIs, and heart failure treatments. The staff utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to care for patients of all ages. Candidates must be able to independently circulate complex adult cardiac cases. This may include CABGs, structural heart procedures, and minimally invasive techniques. Experience with heart failure cases such as Impella and artificial hearts is preferred. Transplant and TAVI experience is preferred but not required. Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma setting is highly desired.
