Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,931 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 18 months experience required, specifically in a Level 1 Trauma Center. License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand prior to start date. Certifications: BCLS certification required. Must-Have: - Experience in heart/lung transplant procedures. - Experience in valve replacement. - Experience in aortic dissection procedures. - Experience with receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation. - Must have three to four in Cardiovascular, Peripheral Vascular, Heart, and Lung Transplant. Description: Scrubbing in is not required for this position. Charge pay is offered for qualifying nurses. Weekday shifts consist of four 10-hour days. On-call and holiday duties are required. Approximately 90-120 hours of call in a six-week schedule. First-time travelers are welcomed if they have Level 1 Trauma experience. Circulate in the operating room as part of the job responsibilities. Travel experience is required. Nursing staff are expected to be well-rounded and current in most areas. Floating to other specialties is required as needed. Special procedures performed include heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO. Special equipment used in this unit includes the DaVinci XI. All travelers will float within the hospital or to nearby facilities as necessary.
