Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

Provide specialized, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures
Assist in all phases of surgery, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative support, and post-operative recovery
Operate and maintain sterile field practices and equipment essential to CVOR procedures
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Monitor and document patient status, maintaining accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols
Support efficiency and safety within the CVOR through teamwork and attention to detail

Requirements of the Travel Nurse:

Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CNOR certification preferred)
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in CVOR or Operating Room nursing
Strong technical and communication skills within a surgical team environment
