Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM; On-call requirement 1-2 days per week, one weekend per month, and holiday on-call when applicable

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma center specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Scrub and circulate for all types of CVOR cases including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, TEVAR, and ventricular assist devices
• Potential to float to general OR for additional case variety and cross-training opportunities
• Cerner (Surginet) electronic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
• Scrubs provided; work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Travel assignment with competitive compensation for qualified perioperative professionals

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated competency in both scrubbing and circulating roles for cardiovascular procedures
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), cell saver, and electrosurgical units
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Charge nurse experience strongly preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Valid professional references and certification documentation required
