Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $3,546 per week in Philadelphia, PA

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, block scheduling, on-call requirement averages 2 weekends every 6 weeks (Friday/Saturday/Sunday), 1 winter and 1 summer holiday requirement

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular Operating Room position requiring both scrub and circulator competency for complex cardiac procedures including CABGs, valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, and LVADs
• Trauma Level II facility with 1:4 staffing ratios and no floating requirements
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Travel assignment with opportunity for first-time travelers with appropriate cardiac OR experience
• Adult and geriatric patient population in specialized cardiovascular surgical setting

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact State RN License required at time of submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and TNCC required; CNOR preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Demonstrated competency in both scrubbing and circulating for cardiac surgery procedures
• Experience with complex cardiac procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, aortic and mitral valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, aortic dissections, and ventricular assist devices
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of facility-specific competency assessment
