Contract | Travel | Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 14-Week Assignment | Projected Start: 07/06/2026

• Provides routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
• Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identifies issues and available resources.
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations effectively.

• Active RN License in the state of employment or a valid compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CVOR or a related cardiovascular nursing specialty.
• Ability to take call during the week and on weekends as required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical setting is a plus.
