Contract | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (shift negotiable) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled RN-level care within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment handling approximately 1–2 open heart cases per day across a multi-suite OR
• Assist with common cases including open heart surgery, TAVR, open/endovascular procedures, and thoracic cases
• Scrub in as needed to hold the heart and assist with chest closure
• Fulfill weekday call requirement (one weekday per week) and weekend call rotation (one weekend per month including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday); holiday availability preferred but not required
• Respond to call within 30 minutes; on-site call room available for use
• Float to General OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled; occasional float within broader zone facilities on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with eligibility to practice in Colorado
• BLS certification required
• Open heart experience and/or endovascular experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must be present in state for the full one-week on-site orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience working in a high-volume OR setting with diverse cardiovascular and thoracic case types
• Comfort with occasional float assignments to General OR
