Key Responsibilities- Provide cardiac surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
- Perform circulating nurse duties within the Operating Room for cardiac and procedural sedation cases
- Collaborate with a variety of provider specialties to support patients through surgical procedures
- Support both same-day discharge and inpatient admission workflows following surgical procedures
Required Qualifications- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing program
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in an ICU, PCU, and/or medical/surgical acute care setting
- Minimum one (1) year of CVOR / Open Heart experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- ICU experience preferred
- Scrubbing experience preferred
