Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during cardiovascular surgical cases as required
• Monitor and document patient status throughout the intraoperative phase, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, sterile technique standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
• Ability to fulfill travel assignment requirements, including relocation to the Fort Worth, TX area for the duration of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with a wide range of cardiovascular surgical procedures including open-heart and valve surgeries
• Experience with both scrub and circulating roles in a cardiovascular OR environment
