Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days (4x10 Hours, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Monday through Friday with one day off per week | On-call required: post-shift call 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM at least once per week; weekend call 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) at least once per month | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Perform scrub and circulating roles for open vascular, endovascular, hybrid room, and cardiovascular procedures
- Respond to on-call requirements including post-shift and weekend call coverage as scheduled
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health records
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative care
Required Qualifications- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience required; candidates with 3+ years may be considered with screening
- Current ACLS and BLS (BCLS) certifications required
- Demonstrated ability to perform open vascular, endovascular, hybrid room, and cardiovascular procedures
- Availability to fulfill on-call obligations including post-shift and weekend call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment with 300+ staffed beds
- Familiarity with Meditech charting system
- First-time travelers with 5+ years of CVOR experience are welcome to apply
