Registered Nurse – CVOR

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Circulator in the CVOR, with 2 Circulators assigned per case
- Support cardiovascular surgical cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, and Thoracotomy procedures
- Utilize Cerner and Surginet EMR systems to document and manage patient care
- Participate in call rotation, including evening/night CVOR call coverage, with a 30-minute response time requirement
- Rotate for weekend call and holiday coverage as required
- Float within the OR to other surgical specialties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience in CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing
- Proficiency with Cerner and/or Surginet EMR platforms
- Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time requirement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub experience in cardiovascular or open-heart surgical cases
- Familiarity with a range of cardiovascular procedures including valve repairs and thoracic cases
