Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and open heart surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in the CVOR setting
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during cardiovascular surgical cases
- Monitor and document patient status throughout the intraoperative phase, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, sterile technique standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols
- Ability to work a day shift schedule (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or large acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with robotic surgery, open heart surgery, or interventional cardiac procedures
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular surgical setting
