Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Location
Ocala, Florida
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and open heart surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in the CVOR setting
Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during cardiovascular surgical cases
Monitor and document patient status throughout the intraoperative phase, responding promptly to changes in condition
Maintain compliance with facility protocols, sterile technique standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols
Ability to work a day shift schedule (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or large acute care hospital environment
Familiarity with robotic surgery, open heart surgery, or interventional cardiac procedures
Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular surgical setting
