Contract | Days | 4x10 Variable Shifts | On-Site | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to adult cardiovascular surgery patients in a 2-bed OR setting
• Manage and support patients presenting with common cardiovascular diagnoses including CAD, aortic stenosis, and mitral regurgitation
• Utilize electronic health record and medication dispensing systems to document and administer patient care
• Fulfill on-call obligations of up to 7 days per four-week schedule, inclusive of one full weekend
• Float to other units as needed based on census levels

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at minimum an Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Current New York State Registered Nurse licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR or cardiovascular operating room nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with EPIC electronic health records system
• Familiarity with Omnicell automated medication dispensing systems
