Key Responsibilities- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Assist with and support open heart and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacement, carotid endarterectomy, and ECMO
- Support angiogram, fistulagram, fistula creation, and lower extremity bypass procedures
- Collaborate within a skill-mixed team of RNs and surgical technologists in a fast-paced, 3-OR environment
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call coverage, averaging 4–5 days per month and 1 weekend per month; float to main OR as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting
- Demonstrated experience with open heart and vascular surgery
Preferred Experience / Skills- Combined open heart and vascular surgical experience
- Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced cardiovascular OR environment
