Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | On-call required (1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Assist with and support cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CSTs and surgical providers to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Meditech/CPN EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage as required per unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care CVOR RN hospital experience
• Active Kansas RN licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Open heart and broader cardiovascular surgical experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
