Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-call required (1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Charge RN in a cardiovascular operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CVOR RNs and CSTs across a 2–3 heart room unit
• Utilize Meditech / CPN EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit guidelines
• Prioritize patient experience while maintaining clear communication with staff and providers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital CVOR RN experience
• Charge CVOR RN experience required
• Active Kansas RN licensure required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Open heart and broader cardiovascular surgical experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
