# Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse – TexasStart Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Webster, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 1:1 patient ratio, on-call approximately 4-5 days per month and one weekend per monthHighlights:

• Join a 3-operating room Cardiovascular OR unit with a collaborative team of 26 staff members including RNs and Surgical Technologists
• Perform advanced procedures including CABG, valve replacements, carotid endarterectomy, ECMO, angiograms, fistula creation, and lower extremity bypass
• Work in a fast-paced, specialized cardiac and vascular surgery environment with 1:1 patient care
• Utilize Meditech EMR system in a modern cardiovascular surgical setting
• Day shift opportunities with a balanced skill mix team of 4 RNs and 4 Surgical Technologists daily
• Potential to float to Main OR as needed for professional growth and development

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or ability to obtain
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Open heart and vascular surgery experience required (candidates without this experience will not be considered)
• Operating room experience required
• Experience with CABG, valve replacements, and vascular procedures strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
