Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Unit - $2,357 per week in McKinney, TX

Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in the Operating Room - Neuro and Ortho/Spine experience Description: This position is for a Travel RN in Cardiovascular Operating Room. The unit features 7 operating room suites and has a staffing of approximately 45. On the day shift, there is 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 6-7 CSTs, and additional support staff. The estimated patient ratio is 1:1. The type of equipment utilized varies and the electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Candidates must have general and trauma OR skills as this role requires such expertise. Labor and delivery experience will not be considered applicable for this position. Candidates with trauma center experience are preferred. Typical procedures performed in this unit include orthopedic, neurological, robotics, general surgery, trauma, and urology. The best personality fit for this role is someone who is a team player with a positive attitude. Call requirements for this position are approximately 10 days a month, up to a maximum of 15 days.
