TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVU RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29406!

Job Title: Circulating RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Thoracic and Vascular experience, including heart and valve replacements. Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility employees. Applicants need thoracic and vascular experience, including heart and valve replacements. The unit has 17 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Unit staffing includes 1 RN and 1 CST per room with turn over staff, 1 charge RN, and 4:1 anesthesia coverage. In-house night shift is available. Advanced equipment includes XI Robot, advanced spine, and Mako joint robot. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include 3 call shifts (12-hour) x 4 weeks with both day and night shifts available. There is no floating policy required. Clinicians will have experience requirements in AIDETClient specific certifications. Requested skill set includes circulating RN in general OR, including ortho, neuro, plastics, vascular, trauma, and robotic ob-gyn and urology cases. Strong skills in cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass graft, fem-pop bypass, and mitral or aortic valve replacement, are necessary. Advanced skills needed include general circulating knowledge for positioning, prepping, and facilitating cases mentioned above. The unit performs surgical procedures in general, trauma, ortho (trauma and elective joints/sports medicine), urology, GYN, plastics, and neuro services.
