Job Details:

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Morgantown, WV

Setting: Home Health

Pay Range: 1861.48 - 1954.55

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm with on call and weekends (At least 1 weekend per month)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Home Health Experience, HCHB, OASIS, WV RN license

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing support for individuals in a community or small facility setting.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to develop and evaluate care programs.
  • Coordinate communications among disciplines related to health and safety.
  • Monitor, review, and manage medications as prescribed; ensure policies on medication are current and followed.
  • Provide timely reports and documentation on patient health status to physicians.
  • Supervise the activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses.
  • Schedule and follow up on health-related appointments and respond appropriately.
  • Communicate with inpatient nursing and discharge personnel during hospitalizations.
  • Train new employees and conduct annual recertification on health and safety topics.
  • Train unlicensed staff on person-specific health maintenance and safety needs.
