Travel Nurse RN - Case Manager - $1,781 per week in Pasadena, TX

Job Title: Case Manager RN Profession: RN Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 20:00 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1 year minimum hospital case management experience License: RN license required Certifications: None required Description: The Case Management unit covers the entire facility. There are 22 staff members within the department. Day shift consists of 10 case managers, 3 social workers, 2 case management assistants, 1 manager, and 1 director. There is no night shift coverage. The patient ratio is 20-25 patients per RN and 50 patients per social worker. The typical equipment used includes computers and phones. The Electronic Medical Record system utilized is Meditech/Meditech Expanse. Candidates must have 2 years of hospital case management experience to be considered. Preferred candidates will have 2 years of hospital case management experience. Typical procedures performed include discharge planning and confirming patient status using Interqual criteria. The ideal candidate will be flexible and comfortable asking questions. Dress code is business casual attire; scrubs are not permitted. A plain white lab coat may be worn if owned. There is no weekend requirement. No on-call duty is expected for this position.
