Travel Nurse RN - Case Manager - $1,920 per week in Alexandria, LA

Job Title: Case Manager Profession: RN Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Licensed RN Certifications: Masters preferred Must-Have: - Case Management experience - Experience with Midas/InterQual Description: Position requires data collection and direct interaction with patients and families. Typical census ranges from 180 to 230 patients. Staff includes a total of six case managers, with options for weekend and weekday shifts. Patient ratios are 1:40, Monday through Friday. Equipment used includes laptops and cell phones. Electronic medical record systems utilized are MediTech and Midas. Candidates are expected to interview patients and families face-to-face. Daily tasks include conducting Medical Discharge Reviews and InterQual reviews on every patient. Discharge planning is an essential part of the role. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others. Flexible to float across the entire facility as needed. Dress code includes Caribbean blue scrubs and a white jacket. Rotating weekends are required with no call duty.
