Travel Nurse RN - Case Manager - $2,736 per week in Orange, CA

The role involves breast cancer screening. Care coordination for breast nodule/mass and preoperative patients for surgical procedures is a significant part of the job. Strong experience in care coordination and data abstraction is required. Proficiency with EPIC for preoperative and follow-up care is essential. Patient diagnoses primarily involve cancer, general hematology, and oncology. Special procedures include simple dressing changes, occasional blood draws, breast biopsy, and fine needle aspiration. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, and radiology. The daily patient load is approximately 12 visits. All certifications must be in-hand when applying. References from two supervisor contacts will be required. Travelers must be agreeable to the possibility of not being interviewed. All required certifications must be in-hand at the time of application. Local candidates will be considered at the same rate. A minimum of one year must pass before previous staff can return as travelers.
