Job Title: Case Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years in specialty License: State License required Certifications: BLS required; BSN required Must-Have: Certification in chemotherapy is encouraged Description: Complex inpatient Case Manager and Utilization Review RN required for a Cancer Specialty Hospital. The position starts on June 16, 2026. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the specialty. Experience with Epic documentation and InterQual criteria is required. Candidates must be able to utilize SBAR communication effectively. Weekends will be required as part of the job responsibilities. Skills and experience needed include acute hospital care, long-term acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, care coordination, admission criteria, discharge planning, and utilization review processes. Candidates should be knowledgeable in UR appeals and denials, concurrent stay reviews, and retrospective reviews. Experience with CMS guidelines, CPT coding, DRG classifications, HEDIS measures, HIPAA guidelines, ICD-10 coding, and NCQA standards is essential. Understanding OSHA regulations and The Joint Commission's core measures and national safety goals is also necessary. Qualified applicants must be able to coordinate patient care effectively.
