This role supports individuals and families across the continuum of care. The position utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments according to provider orders and protocols. The RN performs clinical procedures and provides patient education and care coordination in collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams. The Ambulatory RN ensures accurate documentation and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards. Efficient clinic operations are promoted while maintaining quality outcomes and patient safety. Culturally responsive care is delivered in a fast-paced ambulatory environment. Required competencies include: Performing comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized plans of care. Implementing and evaluating nursing interventions and patient responses. Recognizing changes in patient condition and initiating appropriate interventions or escalation of care. Delivering effective patient and family education related to care, medications, and discharge needs. Exercising independent nursing judgment in determining appropriate nursing actions and interventions.
